On March 21, 2018, The National Leadership Group, Inc. was given the opportunity and privilege to celebrate “Single Parent Day” at the Georgia State Capitol. State Representative, Valencia Stovall hosted the event.

Our single parent workshop was also held on the grounds of the capitol. The workshop topics were on money management, voter’s registration and other valuable services and resources that are of great benefit and empowerment for single parents.

Afterward, a meet and greet of our State Representatives and Senators were held during lunch.  Some shared along with other supporters their stories, encouragement, advice in support of single parents.

In addition, Rep. Stovall and Beverly Brewster, Exec Dir- The National Leadership Group, Inc. shared status and insight on Georgia House bill HR-279 ‘Single Parent Day’.

Finally, we had an inspiring day at the state of Georgia capitol. Thank you, Rep. Stovall, supporters and participants!
