"Can We Talk" is an event to bring single parents or single guardians and their children together to talk about the issues that they face daily and resolutions on how they can communicate to build healthy families and relationships
The "Can We Talk" idea was presented to the Dekalb County Commissioner, Larry Johnson by Beverly Brewster, National Leadership Group Inc.
Commissioner Johnson thought it was an excellent idea to bring parent, guardians and their children together to have an open conversation about the issues they face.
Therefore, the first "Can We Talk" event occurred on November 18, 2017.
Sponsored by the National Leadership Group, Inc, in partnership with the Dekalb Initiative for children and Families and Dekalb County Commissioner, Larry Johnson
